Napoleon Perdis, Australia’s leading makeup artist and the CEO and Founder of Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics, will expand his global beauty empire this fall and winter with the unveiling of the four luxurious concept stores in California, the brand’s first in the United States. Napoleon Perdis, Australia's leading makeup artist, is all about transforming runway to reality to bring out the celebrity in you. The grand opening of the Hollywood, California flagship will mark the re-institution of Hollywood glamour just as it was in the Golden Age.

Boasting decadent boudoirs, a clean color palette and chic design thematic, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics boutiques will serve as ultimate beauty destinations where women can experiment and play with best sellers such as Lip Lacquer, Long Black Mascara and Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin Primer, among others.  Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics’ 4000 square-foot Hollywood location will serve as the brand’s flagship store on the West Coast, housing both a retail boutique and a makeup academy. The Napoleon Perdis Makeup Academy, a training facility for both professional makeup artists and everyday women, and the Hollywood boutique are scheduled to open on March 19 th, 2007 during Los Angeles Fashion Week.

“As far as design, think Dorothy Draper meets old world Hollywood. As far as service, think decadent luxury, the ultimate beck and call with your makeup artist,” said Napoleon Perdis. “My brand is trans-generational, trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic. I look forward to working individually with each of our customers in our stores.”

In an elegant and warm environment that embodies old world glamour merged with modern femininity, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics stores encourage women to discover their inner celebrities as Napoleon Perdis makeup artists guide them through the collection. Each store will feature high-fashion styling pieces with rich textured elements and lineal motifs including vintage lamps and stools, rugs featuring pure wool from Australia and New Zealand and statement chandeliers hung from a high-gloss, ornate, white baroque ceilings.  Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics’ full color line will be on display, illuminated by a soft glow of diffused white light.

The brand is poised to increase its presence on the West Coast as it continues to expand across the globe. Napoleon Perdis has hired Caro Marketing to spearhead its marketing efforts in the U.S. market. Caro Marketing will work with Napoleon Perdis and his publicity agent Susan Blond, Inc based in New York, New York. Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics currently has 3 California flagship stores, 52 stand-alone concept stores and over 600 point-of-sale locations across Australia and New Zealand. The brand is also sold exclusively at 6 Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the United States and at 50 The Bay stores in Canada.

Since Napoleon Perdis launched his collection in the U.S. in the spring of 2005, he is promptly gaining a celebrity clientele that includes Teri Hatcher, Evangeline Lilly, Vanessa Minnillo, LeAnn Rimes, Melissa George, Paula Abdul, Nicollette Sheridan, Rose McGowan, Amanda Bynes and Hilary and Hayley Duff, among others.

Napoleon Perdis’ trans-generational approach to beauty has driven the brand into a category all its own. Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics provides pro-tips on all packaging of products, further driving home the brand value “The Oxford of Makeup.” Additional key brand values include “Bring out the Celebrity in You,” “Runway to Reality,” “Treasure Chest” and “Australia’s Leading Makeup Artist.”

The Napoleon Perdis philosophy is not dictated by fashion – it’s about celebrating and empowering your natural beauty. The butterfly, the collection’s emblem, symbolizes something of great value to Napoleon Perdis: the choice of color and the freedom to discover yourself through experimentation.
